Sweet White Wine Trials
The 2022 vintage follows in the footsteps of the fine 2018 and 2019 vintages in terms of quality. At Château Michel de Montaigne, we have achieved a balance between fruit, acidity, and alcohol, thanks in part to balanced weather conditions throughout the growing season.
Tasting note:
The dress is a deep gold, with aromas of candied fruit on the nose, mixed with white flowers, as well as some discreet woody notes which bring a beautiful complexity.
A nice balance on the palate, the discreet woodiness of the tannins brings more liveliness than on the mellow Montaigne and allows it to have a very pleasant, lively and soft mouthfeel.
The finish is very long with notes of fruit and wood.
