Année X (2004)

Year X is a new collection bringing together the best of the estate's older vintages. The 2004 vintage is the very first to inaugurate this fine selection.
Only bottles offering excellent aging potential are included; only those that are truly worthy are given a place there.

2004 vintage:

Favorable weather, which gives a straightforward vintage where vinification and tannin work were paramount, but which makes it a very good vintage for aging.

Tasting notes:

The dress is a lovely red with orangey undertones.

It has a nose with a mixture of spices, cloves and tobacco box.

A very silky and pleasant mouthfeel, with a finish of elegant aromas of wood and fruit, giving it lovely complexity. Ideal for drinking now.

Grape harvest:
From September 18th to October 10th.

Assembly :
45% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Bottling:
September 2006.
