Sweet white wine Cuvée "The Essays".

The 2023 vintage is in line with the excellent 2018 and 2019 vintages in terms of quality. At Château Michel de Montaigne, we have achieved a balance between fruit, acidity and alcohol, thanks in part to balanced weather conditions throughout the growing season.

Tasting notes:

Deep golden colour, with aromas of candied fruit mingled with white flowers and subtle woody notes that lend beautiful complexity.

Well-balanced on the palate, the subtle woodiness of the tannins brings more liveliness than the sweetness of Montaigne, resulting in a very pleasant, lively and smooth mouthfeel.

The finish evokes sweet notes of honey and gingerbread, with a rounded texture.

Blend:
90% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Sauvignon Gris.
