Cuvée "The Essays" 2014
The 2014 vintage is a miraculous vintage which started off badly but was saved by an Indian summer which makes it a very good vintage at Château de Montaigne.
This vintage is very well balanced with roundness and a beautiful equilibrium, which will delight consumers.
Tasting notes:
The robe is dark, garnet. The nose is complex with harmonious notes of forest fruits, tobacco box, spices.
From the first sip, you can feel a mouth with silky and delicate tannins.
The intensity of the fruit and the beautiful complexity of barrel aging provide a long and harmonious finish for this Cuvée “Les Essais” from Château Michel de Montaigne.
Grape harvest:
From September 20th to October 10th.
Assembly :
45% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon.

September 2016.
