The 2014 vintage is a miracle vintage that started off badly but was saved by an Indian summer which made it a very good vintage at Château de Montaigne.
This vintage is very balanced with roundness and a beautiful balance, which will delight consumers.
Tasting note:
The color is dark, garnet. The nose is complex with harmonious notes of wild berries, tobacco box, and spices.
From the attack we feel a mouth with silky and delicate tannins.
The intensity of the fruit and the beautiful complexity of barrel aging provide a long and harmonious finish for this Cuvée “Les Essais” from Château Michel de Montaigne.
