‘FAVOURITE’

The 2023 vintage is in line with the excellent 2018 and 2019 vintages in terms of quality. At Château Michel de Montaigne, we have achieved a balance between fruit, acidity and alcohol, thanks in part to balanced weather conditions throughout the growing season.

Tasting notes:

Deep golden colour, with aromas of candied fruit mingled with white flowers and subtle woody notes that lend it a beautiful complexity.

A lovely balance on the palate, with subtle woody tannins bringing more liveliness than the sweetness of Montaigne, resulting in a very pleasant, lively and smooth mouthfeel.

The finish evokes sweet notes of honey and gingerbread, with a rounded texture.

Assemblage :
90 % Sauvignon Blanc, 10 % Sauvignon Gris.
